Emergency Road Closure Public Notice - The Mount, Ifield - 3rd November 2025

PUBLIC NOTICE Temporary closure of The Mount, Rusper CP, 3rd November 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from the date specified below, West Sussex County Council has temporarily closed to all traffic The Mount, Rusper CP, in the Horsham District under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, on The Mount between junctions with Orltons Lane and Prestwood Lane. The emergency temporary closure commenced on 3rd November 2025 for a maximum of 21 days. It is anticipated that works will be completed on 6th November 2025. The road closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while Southern Water undertakes repairs due to a burst on 4" main. The restriction will be in place 24hrs. An alternative route will be signed on site. Access maintained for emergency services, residents and pedestrians within the closed area.
